History

Joana Keur founded Iber Lengua in Haarlem on June the 17th, 1991. Prior to starting, she conducted a comprehensive survey focusing on the question:

"What is going wrong in the field of language training courses for trade and industry?”

The results of this survey were:

- Courses were not focused on position or organisation.
- Participants often had to learn ineffective business correspondence.
- Within the surveyed courses, business culture was lacking.

Based on these results, Iber Lengua developed its own unique method and philosophy, which perfectly anticipates the student’s needs and guarantees high quality.

Iber Lengua provides courses in a function- and branch-oriented manner; in other words, the courses are based on the nature of the company and the position of its employees.
